Our March Page 1 Kids box arrived just in time to usher in spring! The themed box featured a cute Let Love Grow daisy kit, flower stickers (which Maya put all over her face 😂), and the book Lola Plants a Garden by Anna McQuinn. We’re huge fans of the Lola series, so this book was in our personal collection already. Page 1 Kids to the rescue! After they watched our unboxing story on Instagram, I immediately received a message saying another book would be mailed out the very next day. Talk about amazing customer service! We’ll get to pass on the extra Lola book copy to a friend.
The new book, One Family by George Shannon, arrived just a few days later. A counting book, One Family demonstrates how families can come in all different sizes and make ups. From a traditional couple with one child, to an intergenerational family that includes babies and grandparents, each family is unique and special. As your little one counts the number of items on each respective page, they are reminded that no matter the number of people, no matter the differing races, it’s still one family. One Family is recommended for ages 4-8.
